The curricular unit Judicial Organization intends to provide the students with the basic notions regarding the principles and norms that rule the creation, structure, competence and activity of Courts and the professional statutes of Judges and Lawyers. It is also intended to familiarize the students with the structure and organization of Courts.

Objectives
Objectives
At the end of this curricular unit the students should have a knowledge of the portuguese Courts' organization and structure, and of the fundamental principles that rule the Courts' activity and the statutes of the forensic actors. The perspective of the citizens' right of access to the Justice should be priviliged and this Knowledge should be articulated with the portuguese Fundamental Law.
