    The knowledge to be adquired in this UC falls mainly within the scope of Statistics and scientific research
    methodology that constitute essential concepts for the validation of the quantitative and qualitative
    research. Therefore, the basic procedures that the community academic uses in the collection, treatment,
    interpretation of data, as well as in the dissemination of the scientific information.

    2. Descriptive Statistics:
    2.1. Basic Concepts of Statistics;
    2.2. Generic measurement indicators;

    2.4. Univariate descriptive analysis;

    2.7. Simple linear regression and correlation.

  • Objectives

    Objectives

    To bring students to know and apply, in their academic practice, scientific knowledge and procedures.
    Sensitize students to epistemological surveillance: containment of pre-judgments and judgments of that may derail the objectives of the research.
    Develop the critical sense in the theoretical confrontation concerning the various authors and/or Paradigms.
    Train them at the level of methodology and the choice of various scientific methods.

    Theoretical-practical classes using recent information and communication technologies.

    Classes will preferably be online/e-learning via Moodle/Videoconference/ZOOM, in accordance with the rules in force at the ULHT.
