This Curricular Unit has two main objectives.
The first is based on the study of European public policies and the support to their implementation, often supported in investment programmes and projects. Attention will also be given to international and European financial institutions, as well as to the legal instruments that frame and implement them.
The second objective focuses on the identification of business opportunities and national, European and international financial support, associated to the knowledge of the techniques used in the conception, analysis, financing and management of innovation and investment projects.

Objectives
Objectives
Students should know the role that public policies and international financial institutions play in the normal functioning of today's complex societies. They are also expected to understand the importance and usefulness of analysis, evaluation and methodologies used in innovation and investment projects.
The ability to identify funding and/or business opportunities and to respond to calls for proposals or public tenders constitutes a functional dimension that may prove very useful in professional life.

Classes take place online/e-learning, via Moodle/Videoconference/ZOOM, under the terms of the regulations in force at ULHT.
