  • Objectives

    Objectives

In the theoretical lessons, it will be emphasized the principal features of several taxonomic groups, as well as aspects of their reproductive biology. The influence of environmental factors on plant growth and development, and consequent impact on the geographical distribution of plants will be explained. In practical classes is intended that students apply the theoretical knowledge acquired in order to identify plants of different taxonomic groups based on their external morphology, and understand their life cycle. Field excursions will be performed for observing different species.

  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

It is intended that the student has an active learning in which he has a fundamental role, helping to build knowledge together with the teacher and other colleagues. We believe that the baggage that the student brings is important and we value it, as well as curiosity, autonomy and active participation.
