This Curricular Unit prepares students to better analyze and understand individual and small group behavior in organizations. For this purpose, the Curricular Unit focuses on the identification and characterization of individual characteristics, and the cognitive, affective and motivational factors that promote the adjustment person(s) - organization. In Organizational Behaviour: Individuals and Groups, the role of technology in human behavior in organizations and the importance of effective teamwork and its dimensions are also reflected.

Objectives
In this Curricular Unit, it is intended that students are able to:
- Deepen the psycho/sociological aspect of organizational theory, according to a perspective of action-research;
- Understand the importance of individual behavior, and small groups, and the way they relate;
- Provide knowledge and tools for diagnosis and individual and group assessment, relevant to the characterization and diagnosis of effective teams;
- Know the principles and tools of individual and group behavior management, based on evidence, in the context of people management;

Teaching methodologies and assessment
In this UC, innovative practice involves the diagnosis and characterization of a real team. Students are encouraged to identify a team, characterize, diagnose and propose an intervention plan.
