    The Internship Report represents the final balance of a professional experience that allowed the trainee to acquire and/or strengthen skills. It is, therefore, a document organized in such a way as to make this professional experience clear to the Teacher of the Internship/Project that will evaluate the document. The Project aims to enable the student to test his/her abilities to carry out, on his/her own, research work. . Curricular Internship Elaboration of the Professional Internship Proposal and respective Report; Realization of a professional internship with a total duration never less than 300 hours; . Project/Research Area Elaboration of the Project / Research Proposal Realization and presentation of a Research Work of about 20 to 30 pages

    The programmatic contents of this Curriculum Unit are composed by the tutorial accompaniment of the students in the realization of the Internship Reports, as well as the Projects. Seminars taught by professionals from the labor market will also be presented, according to the CU Schedule

  • Objectives

    Objectives

    Develop technical-professional skills related to the CU and acquire knowledge and skills in the face of the professional reality contact resulting from the internship. The Internship Report (IR), should describe the tasks developed during the internship period. The specific objectives are: - Application of theoretical and practical knowledge acquired throughout the academic training; - Facilitate the professional insertion of the future graduate in Tourism in the labor market; - Rehearse practices adjusted to the needs of the labor market; - Evaluate the interest and profile of the trainee for the exercise of a profession in Tourism its availability for the execution of differentiated tasks, according to the areas concerned; - Strengthen the IES with the partners in the labor market. The student may choose to carry out a Project (P), in which strategies for development and appreciation of the whole process inherent to tourism activity are addressed.

    During the course of the classes, students will have the possibility to contact with the real world, through the
    contact with specialists who work in tourism and hospitality companies,
