It aims to equip motivated and highly capable students with practical, hands-on training that is innovative on both national and European scales. The education is of exceptional quality, grounded in evidence-based practices and focused on acquiring skills for solving complex situations in real work contexts. The Master's program is offered in a hybrid format, encompassing both workday and after-work hours, with a combination of online and in-person classes. This structure allows students to better balance their academic and active professional lives, providing them with flexibility to study, acquire, and deepen knowledge while actively practicing their profession on a daily basis.

    Candidates eligible for this study program are: Holders of an Integrated Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine; Holders of a Pre-Bologna degree in Veterinary Medicine or a legal equivalent conferred by national higher education institutions in the field of Veterinary Medicine; Holders of a foreign higher academic degree in Veterinary Medicine according to the Bologna Process or a legal equivalent; Holders of a foreign higher academic degree, recognized by the Scientific Council as meeting the objectives of the Integrated Master's degree in the field of Veterinary Medicine or the Pre-Bologna Degree in Veterinary Medicine.

    Objectives

    1- Acquire innovative "State of the Art" knowledge, based on systematic literature review and evidence-based medicine, with a strong practical component. 2- Gain cutting-edge knowledge, skills, and abilities in the field of Small Animal Surgery, enabling the selection and execution of the most suitable and up-to-date surgical techniques for companion animals, promoting the best evidence in specialized practice. 3- Enhance the excellence of clinical practice in Small Animal Surgery.

    • Offering a 2nd cycle program - Professional Master's degree - with a 1.5-year curriculum designed for the continuous training of Veterinarians. Provided in a format of both in-person and online classes, available during workday and after-work hours, allowing for the harmonization of academic and active professional life.
