Tiago Barreiro completed a PhD in Physics in 1998 at the University of Sussex and a Licenciatura in Engenharia Física Tecnológica in 1993 at the Universidade de Lisboa. He is currently an Assistant Professor in Universidade Lusófona. He published 31 articles in journals and co-supervised 1 PhD thesis and 1 MSc dissertation. He works in the area of Exact Sciences with emphasis on Physical Sciences. His preferred topics are dark energy, modified gravity, interacting dark matter and cosmology.
