Lília Marcelino has a Bachelor Degree in Psychology (2005) and a Masters in Communication in Organizations at Universidade Lusófona. Former doctoral grantee at the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) (SFRH / BD / 69366/2010), she has a PhD in Education since 2015. She was a postdoctoral grantee in the project "Social participation in students with SEN in public schools" (PTDC / MHC-CED / 4150/2014). At the moment, she is a contract doctoral researcher at Lusofona University/CICANT on the project "GBL4deaf - Game-based Learning of Deaf Students" funded by FCT (PTDC/COM-CSS/32022/2017). She has publications in the area of numerical cognition and difficulties in learning mathematics and has been participating in national and international scientific events. In 2017, the study "Identification and intervention in early numerical competencies" was one of the nominees for best poster at the 15th European Congress of Psychology in Amsterdam. As a psychologist, Lília gives intervention support to children with mathematical learning difficulties and gave certified training to teachers, psychologists and other professionals about dyscalculia and difficulties in mathematics.
