Natalie Woolf holds a PhD in Design Products from Royal College of Art, and a BA in Fine Arts/Painting from Leeds Metropolitan University (Leeds Beckett). She has 12 years of independent design and applied arts practice, and 6 years¿ experience in Public Arts as an artist and consultant for arts practice in urban and rural development. Since 2015 Natalie has been an associate professor for Animation Studies BA courses and the Animation Arts MA course, Hybrid Spaces; subsequently teaches drawing and related subjects at DELLI at Universidade Lusófona, is the Co-Curator of the Drawing programmes for DELLI - Design Lusófona Lisboa. and is an integrated researcher at Lusófona University. Main topics of interest and research: material responsiveness to human presence and expanded and experimental still and moving drawing. She is particularly interested in the relationship between the visceral experience of an artwork/installation and how that is mediated by and/or delivered through technologies. Natalie is active in academic research, participating as an author in publications and events.
