Victor Flores is an Associate Professor and the Director of the PhD Programme in Media Art and Communication at Lusófona University in Lisbon. He coordinates the Early Visual Media Lab (EVML) at the CICANT research centre and the Centre of Excellence in Immersive Media Heritage at the FilmEU European University. He serves as the principal investigator for the research project ‘Curiositas: Peeping before Virtual Reality’ (FCT) (https://curiositas.ulusofona.pt/) and as the principal editor of the International Journal on Stereo & Immersive Media. His research focuses on the field of digital humanities, particularly the study of immersive media heritage through archival materials and new technologies such as Virtual Reality. The connection between historical research and technologies has been solidified in his recent projects: ‘Decolonising the Panorama of Congo: A Virtual Heritage Artistic Research’ (H2020) (https://congopanorama.filmeu.eu) and the ‘Catalogue Raisonné of the Stereoscopic Photography of Carlos Relvas’ (https://carlosrelvascatalogue.pt), both of which were showcased at national museum exhibitions where he served as curator. He is currently a member of the executive board of the International Panorama Council and the ‘Fundación para la Difusión de la Fotografía y Estereoscopía Histórica FBS’ in Madrid. Additionally, he is a member of the Steering Committee of the WIRE programme of the European University FilmEU.

- The Catalogue Raisonné of Carlos Relvas's Stereoscopic Photography, The Catalogue Raisonné of Carlos Relvas¿'s Stereoscopic Photography: an online searchable database that combines the surviving 635 stereoscopic wet plate collodion negatives by Carlos Relvas with the 538 corresponding stereo cards discovered in eight public and private photography collections. This catalogue was developed in the research project Carlos Relvas Full 3D.
