  • Objectives

    Objectives

Study of the movement of the material point, particle systems and rigid body: application of kinematics, Newton's Laws and mechanical energy. Understanding
practical application of general principles and application to simple physical systems.
It is intended that students acquire the following basic skills: knowledge in depth of the S.I. of units and verification of the dimensional coherence of equations / models; kinematic study of simple and complex motion on the line, plane and space; establishment of relations between the motion and its causes; mastery of the concept of energy, the various forms of energy and balance sheets energy. It is intended to help students in the mastery and theoretical and practical understanding of some simple mechanical situations through visualization and demonstration actions in the laboratory.

  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

Notes from theoretical classes and the resolution of exercises are made available to students, in digital.
    Computational methods are used extensively.
