Catarina Jorge Fonseca Raposo

Resume

Catarina Raposo is a Clinical Psychologist, recognized as a specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology by the Portuguese Psychologists Association (OPP), with postgraduate qualifications in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Sexology. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário de Lisboa and does clinical work in private practice. Catarina is also completing her training as a Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapist at the Portuguese Association for Behavior Therapy (APTC) and is a Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences at the University of Porto (FPCEUP). She is a member of the research team for the "Anthesis - A Transdiagnostic Approach to Sexual Distress: Testing a Pilot Online Intervention" project, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), ref. 2022.09087.PTDC. Catarina is also affiliated with prestigious organizations, including the International Academy of Sex Research (IASR), the Portuguese Association of Behavior Therapy (APTC), and the Portuguese Society of Clinical Sexology (SPSC). In addition, Catarina has authored scientific articles and book chapters on topics related to transdiagnostic processes, psychological interventions, and sexology, employing both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
