Mariana Ramos

Resume

Mariana Moura-Ramos is a clinical and health psychologist in the Reproductive Medicine Unit of the Coimbra Hospital and University Centre (CHUC) and a researcher at the Center for Research in Neuropsychology and Cognitive Behavioral Intervention of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra (CINEICC). She is currently the Head of the Clinical Psychology unit of CHUC. As a clinician, she mainly works with infertile patients undergoing assisted reproduction, in individual and couple therapy. She is credited as a Specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology by the Portuguese Board of Psychologists and as a Specialist in Psychotherapy by the Portuguese Board of Psychologists and by the Portuguese Association for Behaviour Therapy (APTC). Her main research interests are related to the psychosocial aspects related transition to parenthood and to infertility and assisted reproduction. She is a member of the Cost Action Research Innovation and Sustainable Pan-European Network in Peripartum Depression Disorder, funded by the European Cooperation in Science & Technology Action. She was the co-leader of the Workgroup on Ethical standards and procedures for clinical research in PPD in this Cost Action and is currently the leader of the Guideleine Development Group for peripartum disorderr She is a member of the Coordination Group of the Psychology and Counselling Special Interest Group of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology. Bewteen 2018 - 2020, she was member of the Work Group for Reproductive Health and assisted reproduction of the Portuguese Board of Psychologists. From 2016 to 2019, she was the President of the Portuguese Group of interest in Psychology of the Portuguese Society of Reproductive Medicine. She was Associate Editor of the journal Human Reproduction and is currently Associate Editor of the journal Human Reproduction Open 2019
