Slavisa Tomic. Concluiu o Doutoramento em Engenharia Electrotécnica e de Computadores em 2017 pela Universidade Nova de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia. Publicou mais de 35 artigos em revistas internacionais Q1/Q2 especializadas na área de Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação, sub-área Redes e Telecomunicações e 1 livro. De acordo com a métodologia desenvolvida pela Universidade Stanford em 2020, entre 2019 e 2022 figurava entre os investigadores mais influentes do mundo ao integrar o top de 2% de cientistas cujo trabalho é mais citado por outros colegas na área de Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação, sub-área Redes e Telecomunicações.
