Teresa Mendes is Assistant Professor at Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário de Lisboa and an integrated researcher at HEI-Lab – Digital Human Environment Interaction Lab. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the joint Doctoral Program of the Universities of Coimbra and Lisbon and is a Specialist in Clinical and Health Psychology and Educational Psychology accredited by the Portuguese Psychologists’ Association. Her work focuses on family and parenting processes, psychosocial adaptation, and contextual determinants shaping developmental and educational trajectories, contributing to the development and evaluation of evidence-informed family and community interventions, particularly in contexts of pediatric chronic illness, autism, and student well-being.
