Class Assisted Reproduction Quality Contro

In this Curricular Unit the student will be familirized with the basics of quality control in an assisted reproduction laboratory, as well as the key permonace indicators for the evaluation of the quality of each laboratory.

The master in Embryology and Human Reproduction has a theorical component, given in
modules by guests specialized in the subjects of each module, among which are
clinician, embryologists, national and international clinical directors of assisted
reproductive (ART) centers, and/or representatives of Portuguese and European
societies. Each teacher is asked to select a few scientific papers and/or clinical cases
related to the subject they’ve teach so the students can prepare presentations and
discussion of those, in the final evaluation of the module. Students are, this way,
familiarized with discussion and interpretation of scientific papers and/or clinical cases as
in the clinical environment.
