The Postgraduation in Railway Systems and Management stands out for its focus on practical knowledge and skills, leveraging a strategic positioning in a sector under solid growth and technological innovation, oAered in partnership with a leading company in the sector, ALSTOM. The program consists of 4 integrated modules over a one-year course, including an internship in an industrial environment or a final project related to the topic. Seminars and/or technical visits to railway installations take place alongside class activities. Throught collaborations with major companies and associations of the railway sector make it possible to organise visits to consolidate knowledge and seminars by professionals with recognised experience in the field, assuring a permanent up-to-date link between the program and this sector.

- Technical knowledge of infrastructure management, rolling stock and railway operations
- Analyse problems and learn tools in the applied context of industrial process operations, projects, leadership and team management
- Develop and implement technological innovations in an industrial environment, with the focus on the railway sector

- High demand sector: Focus on skills valued by companies in a growing sector, in close connection with the opportunities promoted by ALSTOM during the program (e.g. internship developed in an industrial environment, seminars and/or technical visits).
- Comprehensive knowledge: Applied management of railway systems and rolling stock production, from engineering to operations with a focus on ALSTOM processes.
- Course format in a blended system, combining remote and in-person activities, with possibility of classes in Portuguese or English language predominantly in an after-work schedule.
- Accreditation of up to 21 ECTS when applying for the Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at Universidade Lusófona.
- Highly qualified faculty, composed of specialists and professionals from ALSTOM.
