Camila Iglesias

Resume

Camila Iglesias holds a PhD in Criminology from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto and is currently an Assistant Professor and Researcher in Criminology at Lusófona University (Lisbon, Portugal). Her research expertise focuses on victimology, gender-based violence, equality, intersectionality, and risk assessment. In recent years, she has contributed to several nationally and internationally funded research projects, particularly in the areas of violence against women, intimate partner violence, domestic violence, and femicide. She is also a member of the European Observatory on Femicide (Portugal group) and the Observatory of Murdered Women (UMAR).
