Isabel Bieger, PhD in Design from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon with the research project “Contributions of Design in the Resignification of Bobbin Lace in Peniche” concluded in 2019. Master’s degree in art education from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (2011). He has a postgraduate degree in Art Therapy from Centrarte and Famacar (2006). Degree in Artistic Education - Qualification in Fine Arts from Fundação Educacional Machado de Assis – Brazil (2000). Vast experience as a teacher covering all ages. Covering Drawing and Visual Education in schools and Fashion Atelier at the University. Research on textiles and the relationship between art and creation and design. Works and researches the different skills and expertise in reusing materials. At the same time, she develops upcycling projects and teaches the craft of sewing from an artistic perspective.
