João Guilherme Feliciano Da Costa
Resume
João Guilherme Costa completed the Integrated Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon (FFUL) in 2008. He achieved a Specialization in Quality Control and Food Toxicology at FFUL in 2013. He holds a PhD in Health Sciences, in the speciality of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacy, from the University of Alcalá de Henares, 2018. João is an Assistant Professor at the School of Health Sciences and Technologies (ECTS), Lusófona University since 2013, teaching disciplines in the areas of Pharmacology and Toxicology. João is researcher and integrated member of CBIOS and a collaborator of iMed.UL-FFUL. João is member of the Lusófona University and ECTS Ethics Committees and member of the Scientific Councils of ECTS and CBIOS. He published more than 40 full articles in international journals and 4 book chapters, and received 12 awards/distinctions from his scientific research. He has several communications at national and international scientific congresses. João is currently supervising 2 PhD thesis, 1 Master thesis and 7 MPharm dissertations. He participated in the organization of various scientific events. He is also a reviewer of several international journals, namely in the areas of Toxicology and Health Sciences. His lines of research include the study of potential new drugs, being mainly related to the areas of oxidative stress and cancer.
