Resume

Possidonio Cachapa. He obtained his PhD in Communication Sciences in 2017 from the Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias and his BA in Modern Languages and Literatures - Portuguese Studies in 1990 from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He is an Assistant Professor at the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies . Author of 15 literary novels, 1 book of chronicles, 3 theater plays and a large number of articles published in the main Portuguese newspapers an magazines. His books are translated and published in several countries, namely Spain, Italy, Bulgaria and Brasil. Founder Member of the Portuguese Film Academy, has a long career in Screenwriting for features and short films, live action and animation. Some of the films received national and international awards. As a film director worked in several fictions and documentaries. In Theater Drama, besides his work as an author, also directed several plays. Currently he is a team member of several research projects, namely Cyanotypes, Crescine and others included in FilmEU European University. Participated in many events, mainly related to Cinema or Literature.
