Susana Rogeiro Nina

Resume

Researcher in Political Science and Political Communication, with research interests focused on the role of the media in democratic accountability, electoral behaviour, and the Europeanisation of the public sphere. Her work examines media framing, responsibility attribution, electoral promises, televised debates, and political communication in times of crisis, with particular attention to Portugal and comparative European contexts. She is a university lecturer and holds academic coordination roles, combining research, teaching, and advanced training in Political Science and Communication. She has participated in national and international research projects, published in peer-reviewed international journals, and contributed to collective volumes with international academic publishers. Her research employs both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, including content analysis, framing analysis, and survey data, and aims to contribute to theoretical and empirical debates on democratic quality, media systems, and multi-level governance.
