Objectives
Objectives
The following constitute learning objectives:
- Understand the conceptual and analytical basis of international economic relations, geopolitics and geostrategy
- Understand the relevance of the conceptual and analytical basis for understanding ongoing changes in the international economy and order
- Be able to view the system of power, development and the ecosystem of technology and innovation in the light of the reading grids of international economic relations, geopolitics and geoestrategy.
- Apply the conceptual and analytical basis to current relevant domains, such as space, aeronautics, defense and space; regional economic and geopolitical strategies, commercial economic conflicts and "wars", as well as the digital economy, cybersecurity and the ecological and energy transition.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
The UC uses active student-centered teaching-learning methods, through a balanced combination of exposing the syllabus with the discussion of relevant topics and cases, encouraging critical reflection and promoting group dynamics, as well as self-learning through consultation from sources and websites, under the guidance of the teacher.
