Presentation
The curricular unit of Technical Installations is based on the acquisition of knowledge about equipment, systems, and processes that integrate industrial technical installations, as well as the resources and requirements needed to understand the operational procedures. This theme presents itself as a transversal application in all technical areas where engineering acts are present.

Objectives
Objectives
At the end of this course, the student should have acquired knowledge, skills, and competencies in operational domains of cross-cutting equipment in industrial technical installations;
Identify situations whose performance can influence the production process and propose actions that allow the optimization of resources;
Establish the basic technical-legal requirements applicable to technical installations with a regulatory framework.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Theoretical analysis of the concepts, maximizing the use of the deductive method. Case resolution and examples using the theoretical knowledge acquired. Study visit to apply concepts in situ to new situations and critically analyse them. The participation of the students in the field trip is mandatory.
The evaluation consists of the following components:
Test: 70 %
Individual reports and seminars: 30 %
The student disapproves with a grade lower than 10 values.
