Syllabus
Theorical:
- Female Reproductive Apparatus
- Male Reproductive Apparatus
- Hypothalamus-Hypophysis-Gonad Axis
- Sexual development and Differentiation
Seminar/Practical:
- Seminars on the interdependence of human anatomy, physiology and endochronology and their relationship to human sexual development and differentiation, as well as to reproductive health.
- Observation and discussion of ultrasound images, hysterosalpingographies, radiology and hysteroscopy sessions.

Objectives
Objectives
Throughout the CU, students will acquire skills in terms of the general concepts of assisted reproduction procedures, departing from historical origins and learning the generic concepts on which assisted reproduction treatments are based and consist.
Students will reach a level where they can understand the main causes of infertility and later become familiar with the clinical procedures involved in these techniques, especially follicular puncture and embryo transfer.
This unit also includes generic training in reproductive surgery and pregnancy monitoring, as students must acquire knowledge in these aspects of reproduction and pregnancy.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Presentation of illustrative slides on the subject. Presentation of themes in an interactive way, with emphasis on discussions in order to promote the integration of concepts.
The theorical-practical classes will consist of observation and diagnosis of real images and videos of ultrasounds, surgery sessions, etc., which will be guided and commented by a teacher.
