  • Objectives

    Objectives

Guide by the concepts and the discourse that belong to the traditional practice of scriptwriting,
we seek to raise and understand the state of the art regarding its contemporary uses. In a
second step, we’ll work with perspectives of rupture regarding the orthodoxy of scriptwriting,

studying concrete cases and promoting innovative conceptions and practices, namely with the
application to the cinematographic creation of the OuLiPo methodology, based on ‘contraintes’
that promote creation as a game. The bases of scriptwriting projects to be carried out in
Práticas de Argumento II will also be worked out.

  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

An expository development of the issues will be made, with illustrations, views, readings and
debate. Under the supervising of the Professor, students will be asked to develop oriented
experimentation practices, taking scriptwriting as a form of research. The students also will
develop an initial idea for a short film, from sound and visual point of view.
