A New Digital Age - TecWeb 2024

The event brought together students, teachers and specialists to promote technological training and high-level networking in information technology.

Between 4 and 8 March, the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Systems (DEISI) at Lusófona University held another edition of the annual "TecWeb" event, which provides an intense week of learning and networking in the field of information technology. This is an unmissable opportunity for students, alumni, future students and members of the academic community to get up to speed on the latest trends and practices in the sector.

One of the most outstanding features of the event is the presence of renowned business partners, which consequently gives participants the opportunity to get involved in business sessions and technological training in the market. These kinds of activities open the door to future opportunities for collaboration and professional development.

TecWeb 2024 thus reinforced Lusófona University's commitment to providing high-quality education and preparing its students for the challenges of the constantly evolving labour market. Companies such as Capgemini, Ordem dos Engenheiros, Critical TechWorks, Forvia/Faurecia and LAPI2S ensured a diversity of perspectives and comprehensive knowledge about the latest innovations and challenges in the sector.
