A moment of reflection in celebration of World Social Work Day
27.03.24 - 18h26As part of the celebrations for World Social Work Day on 19 March, the Lusófona University - Lisbon University Centre hosted the event "Living Well: A Shared Future for Transformative Change", a reflection event moderated by Prof. Dr. Nelson Ramalho (Faculty of Social Sciences, Education and Administration at ULusófona), which was attended by social workers, including Prof. Dr. Isabel Vieira (FCH - Portuguese Catholic University), Dr. António Brito Guterres (Social Worker with a postgraduate degree in Urban Studies) and Dr. Ana Sofia Branco (Installation Commission of the Order of Social Workers). Dr Isabel Vieira (FCH - Portuguese Catholic University), Dr António Brito Guterres (Social Worker with a postgraduate degree in Urban Studies) and Dr Ana Sofia Branco (Installing Committee of the Order of Social Workers and NESS - ULusófona Social Work Student Group - Lisbon University Centre).
The group of experts was also joined as speakers by Prof. Dr. António Costa Pinto (Director of FCSEA - Faculty of Social Sciences, Education and Administration of ULusófona) and Prof. Dr. Hélia Bracons (Director of the Social Work Degree at ULusófona - University Centre Lisbon).
To close the event, Tiago Carrasqueira, a final year student in Social Work, gave us a musical performance.
