  • Objectives

    Objectives

Learn analog and digital integrated electronic circuits, from their functional description to the masks used for semiconductor manufacturing.
Use of auxiliary computer tools for design and evaluation of digital cells and analog functional blocks. Concepts of static power converters and regulation and control electronics. In order to cement the acquired knowledge and allow a more comprehensive analysis, the use of auxiliary computer tools for the design and evaluation of digital cells and analog function blocks.

  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

In order to support the teaching-learning process, in theoretical classes, numerous references are made to use cases in an industrial context, in order to fully illustrate cases of use of the theoretical subject.

In laboratory classes, simulation and support tools for the design of electronic circuits are used, later illustrated with the help of finished examples of application in an industrial environment.

The consultation of several relevant sites is also promoted, as well as the promotion of study visits within the scope of the curricular unit.
