    This UC intends that students acquire the necessary skills, theoretical and practical knowledge that will serve the calculations and dimensioning that are indispensable for the realization of the projects they will carry out. It will provide students with a solid training that will give them the capacity for analysis and critical spirit that are indispensable in the evolution of their technological knowledge.

    Objectives

    The UC aims to establish conceptual bases for the design, execution and maintenance of electrical installations with AT / BT equipment, taking into account the articulation of the various regulations that constitute legal texts of the Portuguese State and that specify the conditions that must be verified to carry out a project

  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Theoretical teaching, using the presentation of pre-defined subjects in the program, by the teacher. The skills acquisition will be based on personal work, participatory and interactive methods. THE The exhibition will normally be followed by a debate and the main themes will be illustrated with practical cases. Group analysis will provide enrichment of notes and an understanding of the issues raised. The evaluation intends to assess the students' apprehension of the knowledge and competences of the UC and follows the regime of continuous assessment or final exam. This UC is covered by the UC Regulations with a strong laboratory component.

    1.Theoretical (75%): Two tests to be taken during the semester.

    2. Practical (25%): Realization of practical works during the semester (mandatory - mínimal grade - 9.5 out of 20)

    Note: There will be an oral test (from which a waiver can be obtained, by students with high attendance and manifest positive participation in classes)
