    Presentation

Learn how to apply Mechanics as a tool in the analysis of engineering systems, developing its capabilities of study multi-component systems, in a rational and coherent way, transmitting the concepts of the mechanics of rigid bodies, which can be used to model in a correct and appropriate way the real systems or their components.

  • Objectives

    Objectives

Having as fundamental objective, to enable the student to be able to from real mechanical structures or systems, submitted to efforts, to create free body models that describe their mechanical behavior in static equilibrium, the following learning objectives (OA) are listed:
OA1. Transmit to students the knowledge of the mechanics of rigid bodies and that they can use to model the real systems or their components.
OA2. Understand and know how to apply static equilibrium conditions in structural components and mechanical systems.
OA3. Perform the analysis of reticulated structures.
