    This course provides the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge for an intervention that promotes community development and local entrepreneurship. In an interdisciplinary way, it sprovides tools and techniques to students so that they can contribute to professional initiatives to support and promote local development, providing collective well-being in different sectors of the economy, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.

  • Objectives

    Objectives

    In this course, the objective is to contextualize community development in a conceptual way, analyzing practices, conditions, and development factors. It also seeks to provide the necessary knowledge to understand the importance of an entrepreneurial attitude and the main characteristics of the entrepreneurial profile, providing the tools and techniques for dialogue with different stakeholders in the field of tourism.

  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Expository methods, case studies, and active work dynamics will be used to understand and retain theoretical content. Next, the development of practical work in which knowledge can be applied in a real case.

    The first stage will involve the application of a written test, which will account for 40% of the subject's evaluation.

    The second stage, elaboration and work presentation, will be 50% of the evaluation.

    Attendance and individual participation in activities will account for 10% of the assessment.

    As an innovative methodology to support the teaching-learning process, Microlearning and Online Collaborative Learning will be used.
