Portugal, eminently an emitting tourism destination, has as one of its factors of attraction the quality of
accommodation offer. In a destination that registered, in 2018, 57.6 million overnight stays in hotel
accommodations, its hotel industry accentuates the concern for the offer of distinctive developments,
valuing the quality of service provided.
The Hotel Management course aims to provide students with the knowledge to understand the various
concepts and axes underlying the hotel operation and to act in the management of operations of a hotel
unit, especially in its accommodation and food and beverage offerings.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
