  • Objectives

    Objectives

It is intended to stimulate contact with the panorama and cultural offer linked to the areas of Photography and Visual Arts, as well as deepening the theoretical and practical knowledge involved.

Authors who reflect on the text/image relationship, as well as the processes of creating narratives, will be invited for a current understanding of the means of artistic production, as well as the dynamics and strategies of the art market.

This curricular unit discusses the most recent developments in critical discourse, contextualizing cultural transformations (anthropological, sociological, economic and technical, among others), which in turn impact aesthetic revolutions.

Analyzing the methodologies underlying the implementation of projects, editorials and authorship, students will be invited to reflect on the different notions of perspective that contaminate the ethical dimensions of photographic representation.

  • Teaching methodologies and assessment
