Journalism students selected in the ReportEU Contest

The Communication and Journalism Degree was one of the selected study cycles, among 23 applications from higher education institutions across the country, to participate in the first edition of ReportEU, organized by the European Commission Representation in Portugal.

The initiative that results from the European Commission's collaboration with REC - Reporters in Construction, aims to contribute to the training of future journalists who will have the opportunity to develop a report on different topics with a European dimension in order to impact the media agenda.

Our team, composed by the 2nd year students, Maria Nunes, Bianca Gregório, Inês Sousa and Talismã Xavier, will develop, between January and April, a multimedia report on the theme "Houses that are friendly to the environment and equality". On the Lusófona¿s side, Carla Rodrigues Cardoso is the coordinating teacher, in a team that includes professors Carlos Andrade, Helena Garrido, Helena Mendonça and Mésicles Helin.
