Resume

André Freitas. Invited Assistant Professor at Faculty of Social Sciences, Education and Administration of Lusófona University. Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Education and Development (CeiED). Has earned his PhD in Education Sciences from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto (FPCEUP). His project was funded by FCT. Current research project is centered on the complexities of teaching research methodologies in education. Main research interests relate to educational experiences of students and teachers regarding expressive arts education. Holds a Master's in Educational Sciences (educational planning, pedagogical supervision and school evaluation) from the FPCEUP and a Degree in Visual Arts / Art Teacher Education from the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. He is author and co-author of scientific papers and book chapters regarding school cultures, expressive arts education and narrative methodology. Since 2021, contributes actively to international journals on education (Scopus indexed) as an ad hoc reviewer. In the past, acted as evaluator of higher education courses for the Portuguese Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education (A3ES). Previously, worked as Visual Arts Teacher at varied levels of education.
