The Tax Identification Number (NIF) is requested in the application form. What is the NIF? Having no NIF, what should I put?
In Portugal, the tax identification number (NIF) aims to identify a tax entity or taxpayer, in tax returns or financial transactions. If you do not have a NIF or similar, in the corresponding field of the form on the Applications Portal, you must enter “999999999”.
