Class Organisational Behaviour: Structures and Processes

  • Presentation

    Presentation

The aim is to develop and problematize a set of knowledge and information within the scope of Organizational Behavior, a set that contributes to underpin the specific study of Sociology, relating it to contemporary society and the inherent ethical and deontological issues. The themes of individual and intergroup behavior, group decision-making, conflict phenomena, and power and politics are addressed. At the end of the program, current topics are addressed: intercultural behavior, inclusion and diversity, and environmental sustainability. The Curricular Unit deals with social phenomena that characterize the daily lives of individuals, groups and organizations.

The introductory theoretical approach aims to awaken students' interest in their sociological analysis and understanding, contributing to greater effectiveness in the learning processes of the various subbranches of Sociology.

Group work presupposes R&D activities within the scope of the assigned theme, and the Report follows APA norms.

The last point of the program discusses contemporary social phenomena, fundamental for the future of societies and largely dependent on human behavior, at various levels.
