Objectives
Objectives
Provide students with theoretical and practical knowledge on digital editing, audio hardware and mixing: sound wave manipulation and real-time audio recording and recording;
Provide students with the entire process of capturing and recording using practical examples of how temporal and dynamic effect processing works.
Increase and improve students' critical and creative listening skills.
Know audio hardware and how it works
Know and differentiate compressor types and effects and their applications.
Know and differentiate microphone types and proper recording techniques
Know and apply editing, capturing, mixing and mastering techniques
Encourage practical work to be done every week of the subjects given how the student assimilate from the procedural and auditory point of view the knowledge transmitted.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Include more and more practical processes for capturing and recording audio with students. Take students to practical recording and capture laboratories as per the protocol created between Lusófona and EAMCN.
