FIELD OF ACTION It is an artistic activity that uses the 3D animation tool to manage to give movement to characters with a special focus on body movement.
ACTION AREA The animation is done using the animator's body expression, his own acting. The result of this work can be used as a portfolio for studios of animated films, computer games and all types of graphic art involving characters (comics, illustration, motion graphics, etc...).
INTERVENTION AREAS The parameters are: circular motion, weight and weight transfer, key misalignment and fluidity, clarity of movement through animation curves, anticipation, intention, overshoot, acceleration and deceleration, poses and contrast, balance and credibility.
RELEVANCE OF THE UNIT IN THE STUDY CYCLE Great demand in the job market- although there is much competition, there are reasonable chances of finding a job.

Syllabus
Syllabus
1- Understand the circularity of movement, create a fluidity that is typical of organic movement.
2- Acceleration and deceleration. Manipulate animation curves using Tweenmachine.
3- Achieve credible anticipation poses.
4- Ability to create expressive, coherent, balanced, and clear poses in your intention.
5- Clarity and segmentation of intentions. Analyze animation and clearly describe character's intentions
6- Acting. Represent a certain action, repeat and analyze the movement until it is ready to be filmed.
7- Manipulate times between key points, until reach an expressive, credible, and attractive movement.
8- With the use of Tweenmachine, work on the overshoot.
9- Work on the curves, and misalign the keys until you get organic movements.
10- Clean curves, and remove keys that create noise.
11- Give adequate time at a given moment.

Objectives
Objectives
KNOWLEDGE Study and analysis of the fundamental characteristics of the movement, with the aim of transmitting information in a universal and unequivocal way. The appropriate movement to the intended idea.
SKILLS The student should be able to express credible and relevant results through poses, sequences, and time manipulation. Ability to define the goals of animation and to choose the best option. Ability to structure a rational thought on certain universal parameters that allow an objective analysis and evaluation, thus enhancing the best possible decisions.
SKILLS Manage to create, from scratch, the appropriate movement for a concrete idea, so that the result is attractive, understandable, and universally accepted. Being able to apply these skills in movies wich are produced by animation and computer games studios, as well as advertisements for brands.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Punctuality, simplification and summary of the technique, individualized teaching, tolerance for the student's difficulties, avoid pressuring the student, always be available, respond as soon as possible, see the work of all students once per class, always have constructive criticism , remembering processes, correcting problems, redefining strategies, discussing artistic approaches, valuing all effort and merit, encouraging students to like open discussion, intolerance for students who do not make an effort, negotiating with students: focus on classes chair 'in exchange ' from the absence of homework, little use of the projector and preference for students' individual computers, not seeing a student's failure as the student's responsibility but rather because the Professor was unable to stimulate him to become interested in the subject, understanding that the final semester grade serves as a guide to understand added value, problems and appreciation of all quality work for portfolio.
