    Syllabus

The designation of the Curricular Unit and its content organization intends, by studying all factors, to avoid an analytical-reducing perspective of the understanding of movement and sports performance. The program includes the following chapters:

1 Sports technique, design, objectives, means and methods of learning and development. Technical training in various sports - meaning, similarity and diversity.

    2. Sports tactics, conception, objectives, means and methods of learning and development. Tactics training in various sports - meaning, similarity and diversity.

3 Training and development of endurance, speed, strength, agility and flexibility in different contexts of sports performance, different modalities and age levels.

    4. Load monitoring and training evaluation and control of different motor skills.

  • Objectives

    Objectives

    1. Identify the participation of different motor skills in specific sports performance.

    2. Identify and evaluate the limiting factors.

    3. Prescribe training programs aimed at improving overall performance or analytical intervention in the development of one or some skills.

    4. Monitor, assess and control the status of each motor capacity or technical-tactical aspects.

    5. Contribute to the specialization of sports coaches, enabling them to acquire and deepen knowledge that allows the prevention of health problems, from musculoskeletal injuries to accumulated fatigue and immunosuppression associated with the process of overspeeding - overtraining, in driving training process.

  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

Theoretical and theoretical-practical classes are taught. Information, questioning and questioning of concepts in their process of interaction and validation with reality, giving rise to critical reflection by students, will constitute the privileged method of teaching. Articles, observation reports, as well as dissertations, will constitute predominant teaching instruments. In addition, the b-learning system will be used, based on the Moodle platform, where didactic support materials will be available for each of the classes held (slides and supporting texts). Students will be assessed through analysis of articles, group work (2 elements) to present and discuss in class, as well as a frequency on topics previously proposed and approved by the conductor.
