This CU has two main objectives.
The first is based on the study of European public policies and the international and European financial institutions that design and implement them, as well as the legal instruments that frame and support them.
The second objective focuses on identifying business opportunities and national, European and international financial support, combined with knowledge of the techniques used to design, analyse, finance and manage innovation and investment projects.

Objectives
Objectives
Students should be aware of the important role that public policies and European and international financial institutions play in the functioning of increasingly complex societies. They are also expected to understand the importance and usefulness of the analysis and evaluation methodologies used in research, innovation and investment projects.
The ability to identify funding and/or business opportunities and to respond to calls for proposals or public tenders is a functional dimension that could prove very useful in professional life.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The methodology used is active, in that it puts the student at the centre of the learning process, which is essential given that the course is taught at a distance (online) and the students are a heterogeneous group in terms of basic academic background. Debate is stimulated, class participation is encouraged and students are invited to express their opinions in class, thus developing their critical thinking skills.
