- Business Model Development Tool Overview
- Methods of generating ideas and identifying business opportunities. Selection of ideas for project
- Process of analysis of the external environment of the business, the sector and the market. Definition of objectives and generic strategy.
- Development of the business model.
- The integration of operations, marketing and financial strategies
- Business plan development (PN)
- Preparation of presentation to potential investors.

Objectives
Develop the ability to think about a business project within the scope of Sustainability and Circular Economy in all its aspects, from the business idea and creation of a business model, to the planning of its implementation and growth.
Plan investment needs, how to finance it and obtain an assessment of the financial viability of the project.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The teaching methodology in this Curricular Unit is based on a learning by doing process. The specific knowledge for the use of the tools used in the development of the Business Plan, is introduced during the classes, followed by its application by the students.
The evaluation is based on the development of a company or business unit project, in the case of an existing large company, and will be determined by the following elements:
- Identification of business opportunity, market and sector analysis, and development of a value proposition; 25%;
- Business model development: 30%;
- Financial plan: 25%;
- Presentation and discussion: 20%.
