Objectives
The intended Learning Outcomes (LO) are:
LO1: Show the basic project concepts
LO2: Describe the life cycle of projects, the decision-making process and several organizational structures advantages and disadvantages
LO3: Identify which customers to satisfy in a project
LO4: Define targets and performance index
LO5: Define a project Scope
LO6: Enunciate the development phase on project teams and describe the difference on management and leadership in a project
LO7: Apply the organization, scheduling and control tools in a project
LO8: Identify which are the leadership fundamental features in project management
LO9: Describe the importance of the communication process in project management;
LO10: Describe the importance of negotiation and conflict management in project management;
LO11: Describe the importance of managing risk factors in project management;
LO12: Apply project documentation in project management.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Classes are theoretical-practical. In the parts, the concepts and principles associated with the management of theoretical projects will be exposed. In the practices analyzed and discussed some case studies, which illustrate how they are addressed in theoretical classes. Individual practical exercises are also carried out, of the more technical components, which will be presented later and discussed in groups. The assessment of students is based on a final presentation in class, related to the students' subject.
