Elections for the General Bodies of the Lusófona University
Postponement of elections for general bodies of Universidade Lusófona - University, Scientific and Pedagogical Councils (2023/2025)
25.01.23 - 12h14Under the terms of number 1 of article 15 of the Electoral Regulations of Universidade Lusófona, instituted by Service Order no. to the scheduling of electoral acts, as published in NOTICE No. 01/2023 of the Electoral Commission, which is attached.
1 - In order to comply with the provisions of articles 8 and 15 of the Electoral Regulation of Universidade Lusófona, the candidacy period for representatives of the General Bodies of the University begins, as described below:
University Council
A representative of the professors of each University Center, qualified with a doctor's degree;
A representative of researchers from each University Center;
One employee representative from each University Center.
Scientific Council
A representative of professors and career researchers from each University Centre;
One representative from each University Center of the remaining full-time professors and researchers, with a contract of no less than one year, with a doctoral degree;
Three representatives of researchers from Research Units approved by FCT.
Pedagogical Council
A representative of the doctoral professors for each Organic Unit of each University Center;
A student representative for each Organic Unit of each University Center;
An elected student representative to ensure the President's parity.
2nd - During the electoral process, the following calendar is observed:
The receipt of candidacies takes place from February 13 to February 16, 2023, at the Electoral Commission (c.eleitoral@ulusofona.pt);
Applications submitted by February 8th are considered valid, without the need for renewal;
The posting of lists of candidates for all bodies takes place on February 20, 2023;
Elections for all bodies will be held on March 02 and 03, 2023, by electronic vote.
3rd - The electoral rolls relating to teachers, employees and students are made available by the Electoral Commission, for consultation, from March 01st.
