Formação Livre Law of the Sea and Human Rights

The course promotes an interdisciplinary understanding of ocean issues, drawing on legal, economic, environmental and public policy perspectives. In this summer school you will learn about the legal framework governing the oceans, including the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, the BBNJ Agreement, and other relevant agreements and treaties, with a particular focus on human rights. This course is aimed at legal professionals, law students, political science students, and other individuals with a relevant background in ocean affairs.
