    The course promotes an interdisciplinary understanding of ocean issues, drawing on legal, economic, environmental and public policy perspectives. In this summer school you will learn about the legal framework governing the oceans, including the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, the BBNJ Agreement, and other relevant agreements and treaties, with a particular focus on human rights. Programme: Law of the Sea and Human Rights; International Law of the Sea and International Courts, including recent Advisory Opinions; The evolution of ocean policies.
