What will I learn in this course?
It promotes a deeply interdisciplinary understanding of ocean issues, integrating legal, economic, environmental and public policy perspectives, in order to provide a comprehensive framework for the sustainable governance of the oceans. In this summer school you will learn about the legal frameworks governing maritime areas and, among others, UN Convention of the Sea based in a culture of human rights. Programe: Environmental Law and human rights; International Law of the Sea and International Courts; ECtHR Judgments and evolution of the law of the sea; Ocean Policies and sustainability.
