Description
Support and Integrate Migrants (AIM) is a project of CLAIM Lusófona, supported by the FAMI 2030 Programme and the European Union. It is a migrant reception and integration service, based on a concerted community intervention strategy, with an integrated and holistic perspective, understanding the constraints inherent in the migration process. Comprising a physical space for migrant services, in both in-person and online formats, the service is located in two university centres, based in Lisbon and Porto. It has an interdisciplinary team that develops various activities: Migrant Support Office; Employability and Professional Integration Promotion Programme; Intercultural Mediation Programme; Citizenship, Democratic Participation, and Entrepreneurship; Intercultural Mentorship Programme; Interfaith Dialogue; and others.
