The course contents are divided into four modules. The theoretical module presents the most common television practices and characterizes the TV report as a narrative genre, street genre and integrator of other journalistic genres.

The students will embark on a detailed journey for the preparation of a TV report/mini-documentary or advertising project: from the choice of the subject and the angle of approach to the editing of the text, sound and image. We will work in depth on the (journalistic) television text.

The technical modules are divided into three areas: image gathering, image editing and audio. The unifying element of all of the modules is the TV reporting project that all students will carry out. All of the modules are geared towards accompanying the practical work of (television) project.

  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

The TET course combines several teaching methodologies. In the theoretical component, the classes have an expositive vocation, complemented with the analysis and visioning of reports, newspapers' line-ups, scripts; as well as laboratorial work and simulation, in the construction of television tv shows, report scripts, report and anchor texts.

In the practical components, the contents are combined with their practical application in laboratory and professional simulation, either in image processing
(collection and editing), as in sound (collection and post-production).

The evaluation is based on students final work (tv report, min-documentary or advertising project), plus the presence and participation in classes.
